so we just randomly decided to have dinner out. we arrived around 8pm, no booking since its just a weekday, we recon it wouldnt be too busy.
after looked at the menu, we chose the "Aka Matsu", which i have no idea what does it mean,,,but the food looks good, inlcuidng steak, duck, lobster,,etc, sounds a big treat though it is expensive, $88 per head exclude drinks and dessert.

firstly, came the seaweed salad and soya bean. the salad is atucally quite nice, i was expected the green type seaween salad you can buy from those japanese takeaways,,,no they are not, it was nice and refresh. the dressing is different, taste like some sort of peanutbutter in in.

Then, we were served the miso soup,,,another suprise, the soup was thick, i have never had miso soup like this before. dont know how they cook it, the beated egg looks perfect.
then you can either choose grilled oyster or sashimi, since we have two person, we order the both. it seems the sashimi portion is bigger than the oyster(only one piece). Both taste all right.
Here comes the seafood: lobster and fish. we were given sauce plates once we were seated, but when we asked the chef which sauce we should use for the seafood, he told us all the food are cooked with sauce.....basically the suase plates are for decoration. lol
the following picture is the duck, and you might also see the beef steak being cooked on hot plate behind it.
the last are the fired rice. the chef asked we if we would like to play some catch games, we didnt do, but the other tables did, they seem to have great fun.

we were so full, and could finsh all the food, the waitress kindly gave us takeaway containers, and she also suggest their ice cream are really nice.....we were tempered, so ting ordered green tea ice cream(her long time favourite), and i had the sticky rice ice cream.
the waitress suggested us to try those little color balls,,,she said its juicy balls,,,and yes,,,,she was right,,,there were some kind of liquid/juice inside the little balls....i have never tasted this before,,,very interetsing.
