saw ipad? here is coming Eee pad

look closer! this is not ipad, its Eee pad by Asus.

whats good about it? was it just a cheap copycat thing?
well, firstly it runs on windows 7( hooray), and it has usb port and SD card port(unlike ipad), and it will be cheaper than ipad as all the macs are more expensive than other laptops on the market.

the target price is set of US$399-$499 but the device isn’t due to launch until the first quarter of 2011 according to Asus.

lets just save up and wait for it to come!

Grand Taipei Bakery, Box Hill

went to this place for lunch today cause i have heard from ting saying it had very traditional chinese/taiwaness food, she speically likes the rice ball.

anyway, i ordered set meal B, it has stick rice, veggie, pork and mushroom soup and sweet soy milk ($11.00):

the pork and mushroom soup is okay, average.
the stick rice was quite nice, they put bit tomato sauce on it, tasted good though we dont usually do that in shanghai:
this the veggie including in the set meal:
here it is, ting's favourite rice ball, it was bigger than i thought, and had very crispy chinese dough , pork foss coating with steamed stick rice. i like that too, it costs only $3.60spring onion pancake ($2.5). it made from stick rice flour rather than plain flour as we do in shanghai. tasted okay, but not what we are expected:yiyi had this pork rib noddle soup($7.5). the bowl was huge that she couldnt finish it in the end. the pork ribs were very tender, actually i think it was overcooked a bit, but yiyi quite liked it.
ting had this beef noddle soup, again it was too much for her to finish. quite a lot beef there, certainly worth the money($7.5)
address of the place: 594 Station StBox Hill, VIC 3128Tel: 03 9898 8866
PS. dont be fooled by the appearence, it combines a bakery, but you still can order food and eat inside.
cheap but good eats!

Bibimbap

yeah~~holidays~(almost...)

well, though still have one exam left, this didnt stop me to make bibimbap for myself.lol~turely food is my ultimate life goal~shamelss~lol

firstly, a quick view of ingredients, the sesame oil on the hotstone pot is a must!

and the put them all on top of the rice
looks yummy alrealy~ then heat it on the gas until the egg turns white, this is the only indicator of it its ready besides the smell.
together with a corn tea~very korean!
add hot pepper paste and mix them up~zone in!!

lastly~ enjoy it!!

i also got some sticker from panli(online shopping website), and it really makes my mice like so cute~the only problem i have is not quite sure how to classify what it is, a mice? or a pig?

Giant Rabbit

on thw phone with ting tonight, somehow she mentioned she had seen a very large rabbit at canberra before. then she suggested me to google a image for big rabbit cause i have showed her a huge pimple which scared her a bit, lol~
here are the photos we found. the giant rabbit are so cute, they are so like a soft toy rather than a pet. the fur looks so warm and soft~~!!
apparently they weighted over 20 pound, and more than 1 meter tall.

do you take photo of your food?

before i left for my holidays, i did quite a lot research on where to eat at macau and HK. there is a wedsite i found was really nice of people writing reviews of their eating experience and photoes. (www.openrice.com) it is in traditional chinese for those who is interested.
anyway, after reading from that, i have some sort of idea of what to eat and where to find tem.lol~
then when i actually ate at restaurents, i always forgot to take photoes, well,,i was going to, so i could share my words online with others too...
however, it is wired to take photoes of your food for me, my friend was like,,"why would you take photoes of that?", emm...good question, do anyone else do that except asian people??
anyway, those are the only ones i remembered to record...
